The Nathaniel Witherell Volunteers have been supporting the facility’s mission for over 50 years.

Formerly known as the Auxiliary, this dedicated group of volunteers enhances the lives of our residents through the numerous activities they support. These include running the gift shop, escorting residents to physical therapy and the beauty shop, caring for the plants in the residents’ rooms, and helping out at most recreation activities.

Volunteers also provide the five weekly worship services, visit one-on-one with our residents, and play games with them.  Behind the scenes administrative help is always needed as well.

There are volunteer opportunities to suit any interest and schedule.   The only requirement is a desire to connect with Greenwich’s seniors and enrich their lives.
